A CASE OF POLYARTHRITIS NODOSA (PAN) PRESENTING WITH HEMOBILIA AND GASTROINTESTINAL BLEEDING

Despite agressive fluid replacement and blood transfusion, bleeding did not stop. Jaundice developed on the eighth day and endoscopic evaluation revealed hemobilia. Selective arteriel embolisation and bowel resection were performed. Immunosupressive treatment was initiated. The patient recovered and was discharged. In his fourth year follow up, he is well.
